1. Who we are

Pulse is operated by Faycal Derouiche ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at support@derouiche.me.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
  • Customer data: information about your customers and orders that you upload or sync via integrations (e.g. Meta Ads, WhatsApp).
  • Support messages: content of your communications with us.
  • Usage and telemetry: pages visited, features used, performance and error logs.
  • Device & technical data: device identifiers, browser type, IP address.

3. Why we use your data (purposes & legal basis)

  • To provide the Service (account creation, dashboard, AI insights) — basis: performance of contract.
  • Security & fraud prevention — basis: legitimate interest.
  • Customer support — basis: performance of contract / legitimate interest.
  • Product improvement & analytics — basis: legitimate interest.
  • Marketing communications (only with opt-in) — basis: consent. You can withdraw at any time.
  • Compliance with legal obligations — basis: legal obligation.

4. Data sharing

We share personal data only with:

  • Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, analytics, email, and support tools.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when needed.
  • Public authorities, only where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Paddle) are located outside Algeria, the EEA, and the UK. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer retention is required by law (for example, tax records). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request rectification of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of your data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • request data portability;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time;
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews, to protect your personal data.
